Sigh.

We recently, like last week, launched the redesign of our website. And we’ve had some feedback.

Feedback, Schmeedback. That’s what I say.

At first it was Gena (yes, the Her in Me and Her) saying that she thought she looked a bit, well, different in the photo on the front page. I told her that she looked fine. I said, “this is really what you look like, what am I supposed to do, photoshop you?” (okay. I didn’t say it out-loud, I’m not stupid). Then it was Caroline from Osoeco. She said “You two look a little… uh…. well… scarey, actually”. To her I said, “No, we look fun. It’s fun what I’ve done to the pictures….” Finally, Katie from Osoeco said “Adele, Gena’s eyes look wrong. You look frightening. The pictures are bad.”

I have a rule that if three people say you’re drunk, you should lay down (or is it “lie”… damn Mrs. Ham, my 8th grade english teacher, for not helping me get this one right!)

HOWEVER… who has time to change out the pictures — that’s what I said to Gena, Caroline and Katie… It’s not like I have all the time in the world to take new photos. And, trust me, I’m not the most photogenic person in the first place, so getting a decent picture of me takes HOURS, sometimes DAYS, and even MONTHS.

But are they really that bad? Shouldn’t we really be focusing on and celebrating the fact that it took two years of intermittent working to even redesign our site, muchless finally launch it?

Geez.
